Cetti Bay Overlook is a must-see destination on Guam's southern coast, offering breathtaking views of Cetti Bay and the surrounding landscape. The overlook is part of Guam's Territorial Seashore Park, showcasing the island's unique volcanic rock formations and lush greenery. The twin hills, Attelong Acho (Black Rock), are examples of pillow lava formed underwater during ancient volcanic eruptions. Cocos Island is visible to the south off the coast of Merizo village. This area is rich in history, with evidence of Chamorro habitation dating back approximately 3,000 years. Latte stones and pottery shards have been found in the area. The Spanish later created a road system that followed the coastline from Hagåtña, south through Cetti Bay, to Humåtak. Today, the slopes are covered with grassland, savanna, and coconut trees, with a ravine forest hiding Cetti Falls. Visitors can enjoy hiking trails that wind through the vegetation, offering rewarding experiences for outdoor enthusiasts. Interpretive signs provide context about the landscape and its history.     From Humåtak, head southwest on Route 4. Continue for approximately 6 miles (10 minutes). Look for the sign for Cetti Bay Overlook and turn left onto an unpaved road leading to the overlook. There is no parking fee.

    Public Transport

    The Guam Regional Transit Authority (GRTA) operates bus routes that connect to Humåtak. From the Humåtak bus stop, it is approximately 2 miles to Cetti Bay Overlook. From the bus stop, follow Route 4 north, then turn left onto the unpaved road leading to the overlook. The standard bus fare is $3.00/day or $1.00/ride.
