From San Juan La Laguna, the most common route involves a 2-hour hike to the summit. Follow signs towards the Rostro Maya. The trail winds through coffee plantations and local farmlands. Be prepared for a moderately challenging uphill climb. Entrance fees are approximately Q20, but may vary, and an additional Q30 may be required at a certain point. Consider hiring a local guide in the town center; prices vary but typically range from Q150-Q300.

An alternative, shorter route starts from Santa Clara La Laguna. From San Juan, take a tuk-tuk to Santa Clara (Q15-Q20). From the center of Santa Clara, it's a 45-minute hike to the summit. This route is considered safer and may not require an entrance fee. Buses from San Juan to Santa Clara are also available for around Q5.
