Arriving by boat (lancha) from Panajachel or other lakeside towns is the most common way to reach San Juan La Laguna. From Panajachel: Head to the main dock (Calle del Embarcadero) and take a public lancha to San Juan La Laguna. The boat ride takes approximately 30 minutes and costs Q30. From San Pedro: Take a tuk-tuk to the San Pedro dock (approximately Q15, 8-12 minutes) or walk if nearby. Then, take a public lancha to San Juan La Laguna, which costs around Q10 and takes about 5 minutes. Upon arrival in San Juan, follow the walking directions above to reach Casa Flor Ixcaco.
