Car
If you're driving from Antigua, take the CA-1 highway heading south towards Escuintla. After approximately 30 minutes, take the exit toward San Vicente Pacaya. Follow the signs to the town of Pacaya, which is about 10 minutes from the highway exit. Once in Pacaya, you can park at the designated parking area near the entrance to the Pacaya Volcano National Park. Note that there may be a parking fee of around Q20 (Guatemalan Quetzal). After parking, you can hire a local guide at the entrance for an additional fee (approximately Q100-Q200).
