From Tela, head west on CA-13 towards La Ceiba. Continue on CA-13 for about 30 kilometers until you reach the town of La Ceiba. Once in La Ceiba, follow signs to Parque Nacional Pico Bonito, which is located at coordinates 15.618948, -86.8621827. The entrance to the park is off the main road. Please note that there is an entry fee to access the park, which is approximately 100 Lempiras.

To reach Parque Nacional Pico Bonito from Tela via public transportation, take a bus from Tela to La Ceiba. Buses leave frequently from the main terminal in Tela, and the journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in La Ceiba, take a taxi or a local bus to the entrance of Parque Nacional Pico Bonito. Make sure to confirm the fare with the taxi driver beforehand. The total cost for the bus ride is approximately 50 Lempiras, and the taxi fare from La Ceiba to the park entrance is around 150-200 Lempiras.
