Getting There

  • Walking

    From Andrassy Avenue, head towards the nearest metro station, which is the 'Opera' station (M1 line). Take the metro towards 'Deák Ferenc tér' and transfer there to the 'M2' (red line) towards 'Déli pályaudvar'. Get off at the 'Déli pályaudvar' station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs for 'Buda Castle'.

  • Walking

    After exiting the 'Déli pályaudvar' station, ascend the hill towards the Buda Castle. You can follow the signs or head towards the 'Dózsa György tér'. Continue straight until you reach the 'Szentháromság tér'. Fisherman's Bastion will be directly in front of you. The walk should take around 15-20 minutes.

    Alternatively, from Andrassy Avenue, you can take bus number 16 from 'Deák Ferenc tér' – this is close to Andrassy Avenue. The bus will take you directly to 'Szentháromság tér'.
