Public Transport - Tram
If you are near the Deák Ferenc tér metro station, take Metro Line 1 (the yellow line) towards Vörösmarty tér and get off at the next stop, which is Vörösmarty tér. Exit the station and walk to the tram stop in front of the Gerbeaud Café. Take Tram Line 2 towards Jászai Mari tér and get off at the Batthyány tér stop. From there, walk across the Széchenyi Chain Bridge, which offers a magnificent view of the Danube River. Once you reach the Buda side, continue straight to Kapisztrán tér, where the Church of Saint Mary Magdalene is located.

Public Transport - Bus
From the Nyugati pályaudvar (Western Railway Station), take Bus 4 or 6 towards Széll Kálmán tér. Get off at the Széll Kálmán tér stop, then transfer to Tram Line 61 towards Hűvösvölgy. Get off at the Dísz tér stop. From Dísz tér, it is a short walk to Kapisztrán tér where the Church of Saint Mary Magdalene is situated.

Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of the Castle District, you can walk to Kapisztrán tér. From the Fisherman's Bastion, head down the stairs towards the main road (Szentháromság utca). Continue straight until you reach Kapisztrán tér. The Church of Saint Mary Magdalene will be on your right-hand side. This walk takes approximately 10 minutes and offers beautiful views of the city.

If you are near the Ferenciek tere metro station, take Metro Line 3 (the blue line) towards Újpest-Központ. Get off at the Deák Ferenc tér stop and transfer to Metro Line 2 (the red line) towards Déli pályaudvar. Get off at the Batthyány tér stop. From there, walk towards the river and follow the path up to Kapisztrán tér. The Church of Saint Mary Magdalene is located nearby.
