Getting There

  • Public Transport - Tram and Bus

    Start from the center of Budapest, preferably at Deák Ferenc tér (the main metro interchange). Take Metro Line 1 (the yellow line) towards Vörösmarty tér. Get off at the second stop, which is at Kossuth Lajos tér. Once there, look for Tram Line 19. Board the tram and travel towards Széll Kálmán tér. Get off at the Széll Kálmán tér stop. From the tram stop, walk to the bus terminal, where you can catch Bus 291. Get on the bus and ride it to the Hűvösvölgyi út 78 stop. The castle ruin is located a short walk from the bus stop.
