If you're near the Deák Ferenc tér metro station, take Metro Line 1 (the yellow line) towards Vörösmarty tér. Get off at the next stop, which is Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út. From there, exit the station and walk west along Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út until you reach the intersection with Andrássy út. Turn left onto Andrássy út and continue walking until you reach the Oktogon. Then turn right onto Teréz körút and continue walking, which will turn into the Nagymező utca. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Vadász utca. Turn left onto Vadász utca, and the Cat Museum will be on your right at number 26.

From any point in Budapest, find the nearest tram stop. Take Tram 4 or 6 towards Széll Kálmán tér. Get off at the stop called 'Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út'. From there, walk east along Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út until you reach the intersection with Andrássy út. Turn left onto Andrássy út and walk until you reach the Oktogon. At Oktogon, turn right onto Teréz körút which will become Nagymező utca. Continue until you reach Vadász utca, then turn left. The Cat Museum will be on your right at number 26.
