Getting There

  • Public Transport

    If you're starting from the city center, make your way to the Deák Ferenc tér metro station. Take metro line M2 (the red line) towards Déli Pályaudvar. After 5 stops, get off at the Déli Pályaudvar (Southern Railway Station). From there, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal. Take bus number 61 or 212, which will take you closer to the Széchenyi Monument. Ride for about 15 minutes and get off at the 'Hűvösvölgy' stop. From the bus stop, walk downhill along the Széchenyi-emlék út for about 5 minutes until you reach the monument located at Széchenyi-emlék út 12.

  • Walking

    If you find yourself in the Buda Castle area, you can walk to the Széchenyi Monument. From the Buda Castle, head towards the Chain Bridge and cross it to Pest. Once you are in Pest, walk along the Danube River towards the Margaret Bridge. After crossing the bridge, continue walking straight until you reach the intersection near the Széchenyi-hegy (Széchenyi Hill).
