Getting There

  • Public Transport

    Start at Deák Ferenc tér, a central metro hub in Budapest. Take Metro Line 2 (the red line) towards Örs vezér tere. Get off at the second stop, which is Astoria. From Astoria, transfer to Tram Line 47 or 49 at the nearby tram stop. Take Tram Line 47 or 49 towards 'Móricz Zsigmond körtér'. Travel until you reach the stop called 'Kelenföld vasútállomás'. At Kelenföld, transfer to the suburban railway (HÉV) line S50 towards Esztergom. Stay on the train until you reach the Esztergom station. From the Esztergom station, you can either take a local bus or a taxi to reach the Duna-Ipoly National Park Directorate, which is located in Esztergom.

    From Deák Ferenc tér, walk to the nearby bus stop and take Bus 100E towards the airport. Get off at Kálvin tér, then walk to the Kálvin tér Metro Station. From there, board Metro Line 3 (the blue line) towards Újpest-Központ. Get off at Nyugati pályaudvar station. From Nyugati pályaudvar, take the local bus number 30 towards Esztergom. Ride the bus until you reach Esztergom. Upon arriving in Esztergom, you can take a taxi or a local bus to the Duna-Ipoly National Park Directorate.
