If you are starting from Deák Ferenc tér, take Metro Line 2 (the red line) towards Déli Pályaudvar. Get off at the Déli Pályaudvar stop. Once you exit the metro station, follow the signs towards the Buda Castle area.

From Déli Pályaudvar, head towards the entrance of the Buda Castle. You will need to walk uphill, following the signs leading to the castle. The path is well-marked and takes about 15-20 minutes. As you ascend, enjoy the beautiful views of the city.

Once you reach the top of the hill, you will see the Buda Castle. Continue walking around the castle grounds until you find the entrance to Dárda utca. The entrance to Vár-barlangi séták will be located at Dárda u. 2, which is nearby Cziráky utca.

Alternatively, if you are near the Széll Kálmán tér, you can take bus number 16. Get off at the 'Dárda utca' stop, which is very close to the entrance of Vár-barlangi séták. From the bus stop, it is just a short walk to Dárda u. 2.
