From Tatabánya, head to the Tatabánya Train Station (Tatabánya Vasútállomás). You can take a train towards Budapest, which typically runs every 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Budapest Nyugati Railway Station, exit the station and head to the M3 Metro line (blue line). Board the metro towards Kőbánya-Kispest. After three stops, get off at the Deák Ferenc tér station. From there, follow the signs for the M1 Metro line (yellow line) and board the metro towards Vörösmarty tér. After two stops, you will arrive at Vörösmarty tér. Exit the station and you will see the Lion Fountain right in the square.

If you prefer to walk, you can head to the center of Tatabánya and find a bus that goes to Budapest. Once you reach Budapest, head towards the Váci út area, where you can navigate to Vörösmarty tér.
