Walking
From the center of Vác, head towards the Váci Cathedral. Once you reach the cathedral, take Kossuth Lajos utca heading south. Continue on this road until you reach the junction with the main road, which is the Route 2. Cross the road and follow the signs for the bus stop that will take you to Budapest. Board a bus heading towards Budapest and enjoy the scenic ride. After about 30-40 minutes, you will arrive at the bus terminal in Budapest. From there, walk towards the nearest metro station, Deák Ferenc tér. Take the Metro Line 2 (red line) towards Déli Pályaudvar. Get off at the next stop, which is the Buda Castle area. From here, exit the station and walk up towards the Buda Castle. The Statue of Elizabeth Queen of Hungary is located at Döbrentei tér, which is just a short walk from the castle area.

Public Transport
Start at the central bus station in Vác and board a bus heading to Budapest. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Budapest, make your way to the tram station nearby. You can take Tram Line 19 towards the Széll Kálmán tér. Get off at the Döbrentei tér stop. From there, the Statue of Elizabeth Queen of Hungary is within walking distance, just a few minutes away. You will see the statue in the square once you exit the tram station.

Train
Head to the Vác train station and purchase a ticket to Budapest Nyugati station. The train ride will take around 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Nyugati station, exit the station and walk towards the nearest metro station to catch the Metro Line 3 (blue line) towards Kőbánya-Kispest. Change at Deák Ferenc tér to the Metro Line 2 (red line) towards Déli Pályaudvar. Get off at the next stop and walk towards the Buda Castle. The Statue of Elizabeth Queen of Hungary is a short walk from the castle area, located at Döbrentei tér.
