    From the center of Borgarnes, start by heading east on Borgarbraut (Route 1). Walk straight for approximately 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Skúlagata. Turn left onto Skúlagata and continue walking for another 300 meters. You will see the Borgarnes bus station on your right. Continue walking straight until you reach the northern end of Skúlagata, then turn right onto Kársnesbraut. Follow Kársnesbraut for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. Stay to the left, continuing on Kársnesbraut, and after another 1 kilometer, you will see the Gerðarsafn Kópavogur Art Museum on your left at Hamraborg 4.

  • Bus

    From Borgarnes, head to the local bus station located at Borgarbraut. Look for buses heading towards Kópavogur. Board the bus and stay on for about 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the Kópavogur stop near Hamraborg. Once you exit the bus, walk about 200 meters to the northeast along Hamraborg, and you will find the Gerðarsafn Kópavogur Art Museum at Hamraborg 4.
