From there, take the bus number 55 towards Reykjavík. This will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Reykjavík, get off at 'Hlemmur' bus station. From Hlemmur, walk east on Laugavegur street for about 1 kilometer until you reach Tjarnargata. Turn left onto Tjarnargata, and you will find Reykjavík City Hall located at Tjarnargata 11.

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local shop in Grindavik. Cycle north on Suðurstrandarvegur towards the center of Grindavik.
