From the center of Grindavík, head east on Sólvellir street towards the main road (Route 43). After approximately 600 meters, turn right onto Route 43. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Froad Sandvíkurslóði. Turn left onto Froad Sandvíkurslóði and walk straight for about 1 kilometer. You will see Stóra Sandvík on your left, easily identifiable by its coastal views and natural beauty.
