Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Bjargargata. Turn left onto Bjargargata and walk until you reach the junction with Aðalgata. Here, turn right onto Aðalgata. Follow Aðalgata until you reach the bus stop named 'Húsavík'. From there, catch the local bus heading towards Reykjahlíð. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Reykjahlíð'. Once you disembark, walk approximately 1 kilometer south on the main road until you see the sign for Sigurgeir’s Bird Museum on the left side.

    If you prefer to cycle, begin at the Husavik Harbor. Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops. Start cycling northeast along the waterfront until you reach Bjargargata. The distance is about 16 kilometers, taking about an hour to cycle. Keep an eye out for the sign for Sigurgeir’s Bird Museum as you approach Reykjahlíð, which will be on your left.
