Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Hveragerdi, start by heading north on Þjóðvegur 1 (the main road). Continue walking until you reach the bus stop 'Hveragerði'. From there, board the bus towards Reykjavík. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Reykjavík, get off at the stop 'Hlemmur'. After getting off, walk towards the left along Laugavegur street until you reach the intersection with Fiskislóð street. Turn right onto Fiskislóð and walk for about 5 minutes until you reach 'Whales of Iceland' located at Fiskislóð 23-25.

  • Bus

    From Hveragerdi, find the nearest bus stop and take the bus towards Reykjavík. This will take you approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the main bus station in Reykjavík (BSI), transfer to a local bus route that goes to Hlemmur. From Hlemmur, exit the bus and walk towards Laugavegur street. Turn left and walk until you reach Fiskislóð street, then turn right. Walk for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at 'Whales of Iceland' at Fiskislóð 23-25.
