If you're driving, start from the center of Hveragerði. Head northwest on Þjóðvegur 1 (Route 1) for approximately 2 kilometers. Look for the sign for Reykjadalur, which will direct you to a smaller road on your left. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the parking area for Reykjadalur hot springs. From the parking area, you'll need to hike approximately 3 kilometers along the marked trail to reach the Reykjadalur Skáli/Lodge.

If you're using public transportation, check the local bus schedules for routes that service Hveragerði. Once in Hveragerði, you will need to take a taxi to the Reykjadalur hot springs parking area, as public buses may not go directly to the trailhead. The taxi ride should cost around 2,000 ISK. From the parking area, hike approximately 3 kilometers along the marked trail to reach Reykjadalur Skáli/Lodge.
