Getting There

  • Car

    From Fimmvorduhals Pass, head south on Route 1 (the Ring Road) towards Hveragerði. Continue for approximately 36 kilometers. When you reach the town of Hveragerði, look for signs pointing to the Geothermal Park. Turn left onto Hveramörk road. The Geothermal Park Hveragerði will be on your right at Hveramörk 13, 810 Hveragerði. Parking is available on-site.

    From Fimmvorduhals Pass, you will need to take a bus to Selfoss. Check the local bus schedule for departures from nearby bus stops in the Fimmvorduhals Pass area. Once in Selfoss, transfer to a bus heading to Hveragerði. The Geothermal Park is located within walking distance from the bus stop in Hveragerði, approximately 1 kilometer away. Walk along Hveramörk to reach Hveramörk 13, where the park is located.
