Walking
If you are in the central area of Kópavogur, head towards Hamraborg. You can start from the Kópavogur Church (Kirkja Kópavogs) located at Kópavogur, just a 10-minute walk away. From the church, walk east towards the intersection with the main road (Borgarbraut). Turn left onto Borgarbraut and continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach Hamraborg. Gerðarsafn Kópavogur Art Museum will be on your right at Hamraborg 4.

Take Bus Line 1 from the Kópavogur Bus Station (Strætó) towards Reykjavík. Ride for about 5 stops and get off at the 'Hamraborg' stop. Once you get off, you will see the museum directly across the street at Hamraborg 4. It’s a short walk from the bus stop, just a minute or two.
