Walking
If you are starting from the center of Kópavogur, head north towards Smáratorg shopping center. Walk along the main road, Kópavogur's main street, until you reach the intersection with the ring road (Route 1). Cross over to the other side of the road and continue straight on the pedestrian path. Keep walking until you reach the area known as Nauthólsvík, which is a local beach and geothermal area. You will see signs directing you to the beach, which is located at Nauthólsvegur.

Public Transport
From Kópavogur, you can take Bus No. 1 towards Reykjavík. Board at any bus stop along the main street. After approximately 10-15 minutes, get off at the stop called 'Laugardalur'. From there, transfer to Bus No. 14 that goes towards 'Nauthólsvík'. This bus will take you directly to the vicinity of Nauthólsvík. Look for the stop named 'Nauthólsvík' and disembark. You will see the beach and swimming facilities as you get off the bus.
