Car
From Langjökull Glacier, take Route 35 towards Gullfoss. Follow Route 35 for approximately 40 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 37. At the junction, take Route 37 towards Gullfoss Waterfall. Continue on Route 37 for about 10 kilometers, and you will see signs for Gullfoss. Follow the signs, and as you approach the waterfall, you will see a parking area designated for visitors. Park your vehicle here.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you will first need to take a bus from Reykjavik to Gullfoss. Check the bus schedules for the latest information, as there are limited services. Once you arrive at the Gullfoss bus stop, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach the Gullfoss Waterfall Lookout. Follow the signs leading you to the waterfall and enjoy the scenic views along the way. Note that public transportation may have specific schedules, so plan accordingly.

If you are already at the Gullfoss parking area, the Gullfoss Waterfall Lookout is easily accessible by foot. From the parking lot, follow the well-marked walking paths towards the waterfall. The walk is short, approximately 500 meters, and takes you along a safe, structured path that provides stunning views of the waterfall. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the path can be uneven in places.
