Car
If you are driving, start from the Þingvellir National Park Visitor Center. Head southeast on Route 36 (Þingvallavegur). Continue on this road for about 35 km until you reach the junction with Route 37. Turn left onto Route 37 and follow it for approximately 10 km. You will then see signs for Gullfoss Waterfall. Turn right onto Route 35 (Gullfossvegur) and follow this road for about 10 km until you arrive at the Gullfoss Parking area. Parking is available on-site, and a fee may apply depending on the season.

If you are using public transportation, check the schedules for buses that operate from Reykjavik to Gullfoss. One option is to take the bus from Reykjavik to Geysir and then transfer to a bus heading to Gullfoss. The transfer may require waiting, so plan accordingly.
