    From the main entrance of Þingvellir National Park, head south on Þingvallavegur (Route 36) towards the town of Laugarvatn. Continue on Route 36 for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 37. Turn left onto Route 37 and follow it for about 20 kilometers. You will then merge onto Route 35 towards Gullfoss. Follow Route 35 for approximately 40 kilometers until you see signs for Gullfoss. Turn left onto the road leading to the Gullfoss waterfall area. After parking in the designated parking area, walk towards the viewing platforms to reach Gullfoss Lower Lookout.
