From the center of Olafsvik, head south on the main road (Route 54) towards Hellissandur. The distance is approximately 8 km. As you walk, enjoy the beautiful coastal scenery. After about 1.5 km, you will reach a fork in the road; keep to the left to stay on Route 54. Continue for another 6.5 km, where you will see signs for Hellissandur.
