Start from the center of Olafsvik, specifically from the Olafs Church, which is a prominent landmark. Head south on Kirkjubrekka road until you reach the intersection with Highway 54. Turn left onto Highway 54. Continue walking along the highway for about 2.5 kilometers. You will pass some beautiful coastal scenery. Keep an eye out for signs pointing to Rauðfeldsgjá. After 2.5 kilometers, you will see a trailhead on your right leading into the ravine.

After reaching the trailhead, follow the marked path into Rauðfeldsgjá. The path may be rocky and uneven, so tread carefully. The ravine is known for its stunning cliffs and rich natural beauty. It is advisable to wear sturdy shoes. As you walk, you will notice the walls of the ravine rising steeply on either side. The walk into the ravine is approximately 1 kilometer long. Enjoy the unique rock formations and the serene atmosphere before reaching the end of the ravine.
