From the center of Seydisfjordur, head east on the main road (Þjóðvegur 1) towards the direction of Egilsstaðir. As you walk, you will enjoy the scenic views of the fjord. After about 8 kilometers, watch for a sign indicating the turn to Bakkagerði. Take the left turn onto the road leading to Bakkagerði. Continue along this road for approximately 7 kilometers until you arrive in Bakkagerði. The Borgarfjörður Eystri attraction is located at G5HJ+6G4, where you can find beautiful landscapes and various hiking opportunities.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Seydisfjordur. Start by heading east on Þjóðvegur 1, following the same route as if you were walking.
