Continue on Route 1 for approximately 130 km until you reach the town of Hellissandur. At Hellissandur, turn onto Sandhraun and follow the signs to Snæfellsjökull National Park. The entire drive will take about 2 hours and 30 minutes, depending on traffic and road conditions. Make sure to check for any road closures or weather conditions before your trip.
