If you are traveling by car from anywhere in Magic Valley, you'll want to head north on US-93 N. Continue on US-93 N until you reach I-90 E. Merge onto I-90 E towards Coeur d'Alene. Take exit 49 for US-95 N toward Sandpoint/Bonners Ferry. Continue on US-95 N until you reach Bonners Ferry. Once in Bonners Ferry, follow signs for Kootenai National Wildlife Refuge. Turn onto West Side Rd and continue for approximately 2 miles until you arrive at the refuge. The total driving distance is about 150 miles and may take around 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions.
