    From Sawtooth National Recreation Area, head south on ID-75 S. Continue for approximately 50 miles until you reach the junction with US-20 E. Take the exit toward US-20 E. Follow US-20 E for about 38 miles. Look for the signs directing you to Craters of the Moon National Monument & Preserve. Turn left onto ID-26 E and continue for about 10 miles until you arrive at the monument entrance. Be aware that there may be a park entrance fee, typically around $25 per vehicle.
