Once you arrive at the station, board the Metra Rock Island Line train towards Chicago. After approximately 45 minutes, you will arrive at the LaSalle Street Station in downtown Chicago. From the LaSalle Street Station, exit and walk northeast on LaSalle St towards W Washington St. Turn right onto W Washington St and walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach E Washington St. Turn left onto E Washington St, and after a few blocks, the Lorado Taft Marker will be on your right at 78 E Washington St.

If you are already in Bolingbrook and prefer to walk to the Lorado Taft Marker of Distinction, head towards the Bolingbrook Commons shopping area. From there, locate the nearest bus stop for Pace Bus Route 755. Board the bus and ride it to the Romeoville Metra Station. After arriving at the station, take the Metra Rock Island Line train to LaSalle Street Station in Chicago. From the station, walk northeast on LaSalle St, then turn right onto W Washington St, continuing until you reach E Washington St. The marker will be at 78 E Washington St.

Follow the trail north, which will eventually connect to local roads leading towards Romeoville. Once in Romeoville, you can navigate to the Metra station. After locking your bike, board the Metra Rock Island Line train towards Chicago. Upon arriving at LaSalle Street Station, you can bike the remaining distance by heading northeast on LaSalle St, then turning right onto W Washington St, and finally left onto E Washington St to arrive at 78 E Washington St.
