You will see signs for Illinois Beach Nature Preserve. Look for the designated parking area on your left. There is no entrance fee for the preserve, but parking may be limited during busy hours.

    To reach Illinois Beach Nature Preserve by public transport, take the Metra Union Pacific North Line train from downtown Chicago to the Waukegan station.
