Free parking is available in the lot adjacent to the Visitor Center. Note that parking for Grant's Trail is not allowed in the park's lot. Limited RV/Bus parking spots are available.

A one-ride bus ticket costs $1. Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site, also known as White Haven, commemorates the life, military career, and presidency of Ulysses S. Grant. Located in St. Louis, Missouri, this 10-acre site preserves five historic structures, including the childhood home of Grant's wife, Julia Dent Grant. Visitors can tour the restored White Haven home, which is painted a distinctive Paris Green color, popular in the 1870s. The tour allows you to walk the ground floor rooms of the home. The site also includes a stone summer kitchen, an icehouse, a chicken house, and a horse stable that now serves as an exhibit gallery.
