As you approach the Grand Basin, look for signs directing you to the Friedrich Ludwig Jahn Memorial. It is located to the southeast of the Grand Basin, near the intersection of the park's walking trails.

If you have access to a bicycle, you can rent one from a nearby bike-sharing station or bring your own. From the St. Louis Art Museum, head east on Fine Arts Drive. Turn left onto the main park road and follow the bike path. Continue straight until you reach the area around the Grand Basin.
