From any location in Palatine, head to the nearest bus stop. You will want to take the Pace Bus Route 696 towards Skokie. After boarding the bus, stay on until you reach the Dempster St & Woods Dr stop. This should take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Once you get off the bus, walk east on Dempster St for about 0.2 miles until you reach Woods Dr. Turn left on Woods Dr, and the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center will be on your right at 9603 Woods Dr.

If you are close to downtown Palatine, you can walk to the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center. Start at the Palatine Metra Train Station and head east on Wood St. Turn left on E Dundee Rd and continue walking for about 1.5 miles. After you reach the intersection with W Northwest Hwy, continue straight until you reach the intersection with Dempster St. Turn right on Dempster St and walk until you reach Woods Dr. Turn left on Woods Dr, and the museum will be on your right at 9603 Woods Dr.

Follow the path along the river and eventually connect to the bike lanes on Dempster Street.
