Before becoming Brandt's, the building served as a speakeasy during Prohibition and later as an illegal casino. In 1954, Joe and Romelda Brandt opened Brandt's Little Cafe at 10 N. Northwest Highway. In 1969, the restaurant moved to its current location at Northwest Highway and Quentin Road. Over the years, Brandt's has become a local favorite, known for its friendly service and classic American dishes.
