From downtown Rockford, head to the Rockford Mass Transit District bus stop located at 515 N Main St. Take Bus Route 10 (East State) towards East State St & Mulford Rd. Ride the bus for about 20 minutes and get off at the stop at East State St & Mulford Rd. From there, transfer to Bus Route 7 (Spring Creek) and continue towards Spring Creek Rd. After approximately 10 more minutes, get off at the stop closest to 318 Spring Creek Rd. Walk about 5 minutes to reach Anderson Japanese Gardens.
