Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes and get off at the Mulford & Perryville stop. From there, walk south on Mulford Road for about 0.5 miles until you reach the entrance to Blackhawk Springs Forest Preserve at 5360 Mulford Road.

    If you are near downtown Rockford, head east on E State St for about 1 mile until you reach Perryville Rd. Turn right on Perryville Rd and continue for about 2 miles. Then turn left onto Mulford Road and continue for an additional 0.5 miles to arrive at the Blackhawk Springs Forest Preserve entrance at 5360 Mulford Road.
