    Car

    From New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP), hire a reserved SUV, as there are no shared taxis available. The journey to Charkhole is approximately 75 km and takes about 3.5 hours via Sevoke Road and Lower Rambi Dam Road. Be aware that the road condition after crossing Teesta is not ideal. Expect to pay around INR 2,500 - 3,500 for the car.

    If coming from Kalimpong, Charkhole is about 27 km away. Hire a car from Kalimpong town; the journey takes approximately 1.5 hours. Follow the road towards Lolegaon, then take the route to Charkhole. Car rentals typically cost between INR 2,000 and INR 3,000.
