Getting There

Walking
Start your journey at Darjeeling Mall (Chowrasta), a popular central location. From the Mall, head towards the main road (Mall Road) and follow it downhill for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Gandhi Road. Take a right onto Gandhi Road. After a short walk, you will reach the Darjeeling Railway Station. From there, continue walking straight along the road for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand. Here, you will find shared jeeps heading towards Naya Basti. Board one of these jeeps, which usually leave frequently. The ride will take you about 20-30 minutes. After reaching Naya Basti, ask the driver to drop you off near the Rungneet Tea Garden. From this point, you will walk for about 10 minutes uphill on a well-marked path leading you directly to the Selfydara View Point.

For those seeking an adventure, you can trek from the Darjeeling Mall area. Begin at the Mall and take the path leading to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute.
