Getting There

Once you reach Chowk Bazaar, look for the Mahakal Temple, which is situated on a hilltop. It’s a well-marked path; simply follow the signs indicating Mahakal Temple. The hike up will take around 20-30 minutes, and it is a steep incline, so wear comfortable shoes.

    For those who enjoy trekking, you can start your journey from the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway Station (Toy Train Station). Take the path leading towards the Chowk Bazaar.
