To reach Sandakphu from Darjeeling, start your journey at the Darjeeling Mall, which is the central hub for tourists. From the Mall, head towards the Chowrasta area. You can find trekking groups or guides near the Mall who can help you organize a trek. The trek to Sandakphu is approximately 58 km and typically takes around 2 to 3 days, depending on your pace. Ensure you have proper trekking gear, water, and snacks. The first destination for your trek is Tumling, where you can stay overnight.

From Darjeeling, you can take a shared jeep from the jeep stand located near the Darjeeling Clock Tower.
