Walking
Start from Darjeeling Chowrasta (the main square). Head down to Mall Road and walk towards the direction of Ghoom. Continue straight for about 1.5 km until you reach the junction at Ghoom. Here, you will see a sign for Yiga Choeling Monastery. Turn left onto Ghoom Monastery Road and walk for another 1 km. The monastery will be on your right.

If you're up for a more adventurous route, you can trek from Darjeeling to Ghoom. Start from the Darjeeling Railway Station and follow the old railway tracks towards Ghoom. This scenic route takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you reach Ghoom, follow Ghoom Monastery Road to Yiga Choeling Monastery.

From Darjeeling Chowrasta, you can take a shared jeep or rickshaw to Ghoom Monastery. These vehicles depart frequently from the stand near the Chowrasta area. After reaching Ghoom, disembark and walk about 1 km on Ghoom Monastery Road to find Yiga Choeling Monastery on your right.
