    If you are traveling by car, start from Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya. Take NH6 and drive towards Jowai. After approximately 60 km, you will reach Jowai. From Jowai, continue on NH6 towards Nongstoin. After about 25 km, look for signs indicating the road to Nongspung. Turn onto this road and continue straight for about 20 km until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork towards Nongspung Village. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for hilly terrains. You will be approximately 10 km away from Dzuko Valley, so prepare for a short hike.

    If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Shillong to Jowai. The journey takes around 2 hours and costs approximately 100-150 INR. From Jowai, catch a local shared taxi or bus heading towards Nongstoin. After reaching Nongstoin, look for shared taxis that go to Nongspung. The taxi fare from Nongstoin to Nongspung is about 200-300 INR. Once you arrive in Nongspung, you will need to hike about 10 km to reach Dzuko Valley.
