Getting there

Walking

From Ghum Railway Station, Hima Falls is approximately 1.34 kilometers away. Head east from the station, and follow the road leading towards Bijanbari. After a short walk, look for a path that veers into the Ghoom Pahar Forest. Follow this path for about 30-40 minutes, enjoying the scenic views. The trail is moderately easy, but be prepared for some uphill climbs. There are no entry fees or tolls for accessing the falls.

Public Transport

From Darjeeling, take a shared taxi or bus towards Ghoom. Get off at Ghoom Railway Station. From there, follow the walking directions to Hima Falls, which is about 1.34 kilometers away. Shared taxis from Darjeeling to Ghoom typically cost around ₹30-₹50 per person. Buses are also available but may have less frequent service. From the railway station it is a 30-40 minute walk to the falls.
