    If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Pokhara. Drive north on the Prithvi Highway (approximately 200 km). Upon reaching the town of Beni, continue on the road leading to Jomsom. This route is scenic but can be challenging due to winding roads. From Jomsom, follow the signs to Muktinath, which is about 20 km away. The road is rough, so a 4WD vehicle is recommended. After a long drive, you will reach the Muktinath Temple Gate (RV88+JMX, Ranipauwa 33100, Nepal). Note that parking might be limited, and you may have to park some distance away from the gate.

  • Public Bus

    For those using public transportation, take a bus from Pokhara to Beni. This journey typically takes around 6-8 hours, and bus tickets cost approximately NPR 500-700. Once in Beni, transfer to a local bus heading to Jomsom, which takes about 3-4 hours and costs around NPR 500. Upon reaching Jomsom, you can either hire a jeep for the final stretch to Muktinath (approximately NPR 3000-5000) or take a local bus if available. The bus ride from Jomsom to Muktinath is short, approximately 20 km. When you arrive, you will find yourself at the Muktinath Temple Gate.
