    Start at the Carmel Arts & Design District, located at 2nd Avenue NW and Main Street. Walk to the nearest bus stop, which is on Main Street. Take the IndyGo Route 18 toward the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the stop at 38th St & Meridian St. From there, transfer to Route 19, heading north. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the Children's Museum stop, which is directly in front of The Children's Museum of Indianapolis at 3000 N Meridian St.

    Begin at the Monon Trail, which is a popular bike path in Carmel. Head south on the Monon Trail until you reach the intersection with 116th Street. Turn left onto 116th Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Meridian Street. Turn right on Meridian Street and bike south for about 4 miles. The Children's Museum of Indianapolis will be on your left at 3000 N Meridian St.
