To reach the Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island from downtown Gary, start by heading to the Gary Transportation Center. From there, take the South Shore Line train heading towards Chicago Millennium Station. Once you arrive at Millennium Station, exit the train and follow the signs to the CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) buses. Board the #146 bus towards the Museum Campus. After approximately a 15-minute ride, get off at the stop for 'Museum Campus'. From there, walk east towards the lakefront, and you will see the Huntington Bank Pavilion located at 1300 S Linn White Dr.

From Gary, head to the Gary Transportation Center and board the South Shore Line train to Chicago Millennium Station. Once you arrive at Millennium Station, exit and walk towards Michigan Avenue. From there, head south on Michigan Avenue until you reach Roosevelt Road. Turn left on Roosevelt and walk east until you reach the lakefront. Continue walking south along the lake until you arrive at the Huntington Bank Pavilion at 1300 S Linn White Dr. This walk is about 1.5 miles and offers scenic views of Lake Michigan.
